- How do I register as an Agent?
Use the sign up link on the top right of the website. Click it and fill in your email address and the name you would like to display on your profile. Note you cannot change the email address once registered. It would be good to fill in other details for better connecting with your clients but its not mandatory input. Once you fill in that form you will get a password in your mail. This plus the email youprovided is what you will need to login to your dashboard.
- How do i upload my properties?
Uploading properties is an easy process once you have logged in. At favhouse we have ensured this process is as easy as possible. You just click the submit property button on the top right. Once you are at the submit property page you wil see the various property details for you to fill in.
Property title - this website is search engine optimized, hence you need to use a name that will best describe your property even on search engines like google, yahoo search, bing, etc.
Select whether a property is for sale or for rent.
Price -please remember to input this in this format: 1000000 for one million and not 1m, this will be necessary for the website search to identify your property price.
Bedrooms and bathrooms – These will assist the buyer identify if the house has more than one bathrooms, if it is self contained,etc. If its an office or a plot, please leave the bedrooms as zero.
MLS(Multiple Listing Service) -An MLS is an organization that collects, compiles and distributes information about homes listed for sale by its members, who are real estate brokers.
Photos -click on the photos box to upload property photos from your computer. you will ba able to upload upto 5 medium size images per property. Please note: Do not use large images or many images as the allowed memory per item will result in an error if you exceed it. Once you have uploaded your properties you will be able to change the order in which they appear by simply dragging and dropping.
Property Information – We have tried adding locations to the list, but if you feel a location is nessessary to be added to the list do net hesitate to contact the admin for it to be added to the list.
Address- this is what google uses to locate your property town, so try as much as possible to list a name that is available in google maps.
City, Country and State, can be filled to the best of your knowledge.
Zip code is your country code, eg for Kenya is 254.
Description- this is where you put all the details of the property in a composition format. You can also do a list, bullets, etc. Basic html alo works for those who know their way around.
Addition Features- you may want to do a bullet list of additional features e.g.
- Underground water
- Internet connection
- Gym
- Do i get contacted directly?
You get contacted directly by any prospective client in case of a property enquiry either via the phone number you provided, or your email via the contact form.
- What if i sell a property?
Once your property is sold, you can remove it at your dashboard: when logged in you will be able to see the edit property and delete. You are also able to edit all your properties, add images if you hadnt and also delete them.
